Costa Coffee franchise expands with HSBC UK support

Sim Trava has utilised a £7.1 million funding package from HSBC UK to add a further 17 sites to its existing portfolio of Costa Coffee franchise stores. HSBC UK funding has enabled the franchise to establish sites across a range of locations, including: four drive-thru branches, three retail parks and ten high street outlets.

As a result of the HSBC UK funded expansion, Sim Trava is supporting 350 existing jobs across the region. The business is anticipating an 80% increase in turnover over the next 12 months.

Established in 2004, Sim Trava was founded by Simon and Tracy Vardy and now operate 57 branches of Costa Coffee across the North of England. Across these sites, the business employs upwards of 625 people in varying roles.
