Fatto Pizza & Beer launches in Kings Cross

24 June 2022

Fatto Pizza & Beer, from Brighton’s Fatto a Mano, opened yesterday in Kings Cross, serving up Neapolitan pizzas alongside craft beers from independent breweries in the UK and Italy.

The focus of the brand is on “simple, quality produce and fast and friendly service”.

Fatto Pizza & Beer offers a menu of classic pizzas such as Margherita, Diavola, Neapolitan favourite Salsiccia e Friarielli together with a range of modern pizzas including Pesto, Buffalo & Courgette, Fried Aubergine & Smoked Ricotta and Mortadella, Pistachio & Burrata. Vegan pizzas include Fatto a Mano’s homemade Tomato & Olive ‘Nduja and Red Pesto & Vegan Sausage. As with all Fatto a Mano pizzerias, the dough is made fresh every day and proved for at least 24 hours; ingredients are carefully selected from a handful of small suppliers, such as the Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, sourced from a family-run business in Campania, who Fatto a Mano have worked since first opening their doors in 2015.

Craft beers on tap include Fatto Bionda Pilsner brewed by Harbour Brewing Co of Cornwall, Joosy Hazy Pale from fellow Brightonians, UnBarred and ORA Brewing Co’s Limoncello IPA, brewed in Tottenham.

The restaurant is split into two levels - the pizza oven is on the ground floor with the pizzaioli greeting you as you first walk-in, while seating for guests is on the mezzanine and on the 30-cover terrace right alongside Pancras Square.

Fatto a Mano started in Brighton in 2015 with the vision to serve authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. Fatto a Mano have two pizzerias in Brighton (North Laine and London Road), and one in Hove (Church Road), plus BoxPark Croydon and Shoreditch.

Fatto Pizza & Beer will be Fatto a Mano’s first bricks and mortar site in London.
