The Seaborn Inn, a 40 bedroom pub with rooms developed by the Inn Collection, which opened on the shores of Seaburn beach last month has received rave reviews since opening.

Built by local firm Metnor Construction, the four-storey site features sea view rooms complete with balconies overlooking the Blue Flag beaches of Seaburn and Roker, an outdoor terrace and plenty of dining areas.

Offering all day dining, visitors can start their day of with a hearty breakfast, pop by for a snack or light bite, or indulge in delicious pub meals and culinary twists. The bar stocks a wide range of drinks from local ales and speciality gins to cocktails, coffees, and wines from around the world.

General manager, Richard Miller, is thrilled with the reception the inn has received since opening. He said: “We are delighted to have been open for over a month now in a fantastic area which is considered to be the jewel in Sunderland’s crown. Our offering of pubs with rooms in exceptional locations hits the nail on the head here in Seaburn and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed the opening month.

“We believe the inn is a huge asset to Sunderland, boosting the area’s economic and tourism capacity, whilst also being a great base for anyone travelling for business, due to it’s close proximity to major North East cities and ports.”

Located in the popular seaside resort of Seaburn, just minutes from Sunderland city centre, the site has created over 55 jobs upon opening.

The inn neighbours the hugely successful Stack Seaburn development and is set to be joined by a number of new additions over the next few months, to help stamp the seafront on the map.
