Secret Hospitality Group to open new Swansea restaurant later this year

The Secret Hospitality Group will open a restaurant in the newly regenerated Copr Bay neighbourhood of Swansea, where the group is based, later this year

The yet to be named 1,400-square-foot restaurant and café will accommodate up to 60 people and will include outdoor seating space.

The sustainable debelopment will feature materials from sustainable sources and use solar panels to minimize its environmental footprint.

This will be part of the £ 135m Coplebay Phase 1 Rehabilitation Program centered around the new 3,500-seat arena operated by The Ambassador Theater Group. Copr Bay Phase One is funded and developed by the Swansea Council and the arena elements are partially funded by the Swansea Bay City Deal. Swan Sea Bay City Deal is a £ 1.3bn investment fund that creates 1,260 jobs, including funding from the UK, Wales and the private sector.

The family-owned The Secret Hospitality Group is owned and operated by Ryan and Lucy Hole, who also own The Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen and The Optimist Bar & Kitchen in Swansea.

“It may seem strange to commit to a new restaurant during a pandemic, but when this opportunity came, we never thought about it again,” says Ryan Hall. “The £ 1 billion urban transformation by the Swansea Council is a vote of confidence in the region’s future and offers opportunities for people like us and businesses like us. Our latest. The restaurant has become Swansea’s new landmark, part of a whole new destination for residents and visitors to enjoy great food and drinks, just steps away from the arena and the stunning coastline. We are excited to participate in and play a part in the transformation of our city.”
