22 October 2021

Valor Hospitality Partners has appointed Natasha Nagra in a brand-new role as resourcing and talent director, based at Valor’s UK head office.

With nine years in the recruitment industry, Natasha brings a wealth of resourcing and talent experience to the role. With her previous position as head of employer brand and talent at Kew Green Hotels, Valor said that Natasha is familiar with “recognising the flair and ability required to excel in the hospitality sector”.

Leading the hotel management company’s recruitment strategy, Natasha will be positioned within Valor’s central team supporting global HR director Moira Laird, developing the company’s employee value proposition and communicating Valor’s culture to prospective employees.

Commenting on her appointment, Natasha said: “Valor is a company I’ve always admired for placing its people at the heart of everything it does.

“I’m delighted to be joining the team and to be given the opportunity to lead on our talent attraction and employer branding strategy. My role is incredibly exciting as I’ll be helping to communicate why Valor is an employer of choice and recruiting future hotelitarians to join our growing business.

“Our industry currently faces a staff and talent shortage, so I look forward to not only being able to share why Valor is one of the best places to work in hospitality, but to work with friends across the sector to reimagine and promote the industry to future talent.”

Global human resources director at Valor Hospitality, Moira Laird, added: “With her extensive experience of the hospitality and recruitment sectors, Natasha has added immediate value within this important strategic position.

“With the industry continuing to experience a skills shortage and as Valor looks to expand further, the creation of this new role is critical to our search for the best talent. It’s important that we attract the best and continue to grow and develop a team that wants to be part of the bigger picture, sharing the same culture and values as Valor Hospitality and being keen to move forward with the business.”

Valor has recently doubled its UK portfolio with the addition of 17 regional IHG Hotels & Resorts branded hotels in partnership with owner MCAP Global Finance (UK) LLP, an affiliate of New York based investment manager Marathon Asset Management, L.P.
