Pi Pizza set to open in Poole Quay
14 October 2021Pi Pizza is set to open at the former Stable Bar & Restaurant at 2 High Street in Poole following a disposal process managed by Savills.
This will be Pi Pizza’s third restaurant in the UK, following the success at Winchester and Battersea, London. Dining will be over two floors with views overlooking Poole Harbour and The Quay.
Pi Pizza is due to open by the end of the year and will feature their statement glitter ball pizza oven in the middle of the outside / inside Mediterranean inspired interior. There is waterside seating internally for up to 100 guests and a large outdoor dining space on the recently created pedestrian street area.
Pi Pizza was founded in 2014 by restaurateur Rosie Whaley and is known for its iconic 20” sharing pizzas made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, using a secret dough recipe and all served up with a selection of small plates and cocktails in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.
Rosie Whaley, founder of Pi Pizza, says: “This is an exciting time for us as we prepare to open our third restaurant in the UK seven years after founding Pi Pizza. We cannot wait to open in this beautiful, listed building and offer our unique pizza dining experience to Poole.”
Chris Bickle, director in the licensed leisure team at Savills Southampton, adds: “Waterside locations in larger southern coastal towns across Dorset and neighbouring Hampshire are in high demand with no signs of abating. Since there is a shortage of stock we would encourage property owners to get in touch and take advantage of the buoyant market conditions.”
