Corks Twenty Eight will finally open its doors to the public on Thursday, July 29.
The pizza and wine bar on Cleethorpes' Sea View Street, was due to open earlier this month, but had to postpone when 'three key members of staff' tested positive for Covid-19.
Part of the Petit Delight family, the new venue, which has spent lockdown in the making, offers a wide range of homemade sourdough pizzas with an extensive menu and wine list.
With its own pizza oven, the restaurant will be offering a truly authentic Italian experience to guests as well.
Owner James Robinson says the finished product is better than he could have ever imagined.
Earlier this month he told Grimsby Live: "I'm really pleased that we've been able to bring our vision together. The whole place has got a really sleek feel to it from the cast concrete bar to the pizza oven.
"Ever since I took over the business in 2019 I wanted to change this side of the business, previously Waggy Tails, into to my own idea.
"Covid has given us the perfect time to make that dream a reality too. It's given us chance to reflect, plan and seize certain opportunities.
"Had we have still been open whilst doing all this, we may not have been able to make such in depth decisions.
"The whole project has been a huge labour of love for me and everyone who has been involved."
Originally, James only had plans to create a bar in the space where Corks Twenty Eight now sits, but he said the idea soon expanded.
The menu contains a whole host of Italian delights from starters right the way through to dessert.
