A new all-day restaurant bar and workspace is coming to Streatham, called Carmine's, which happens to be named after The Soprano’s mafia boss Carmine Lupertazzi. It's from the same people who recently relaunched the Elm Park Tavern, Christopher Howe and Jamie Cottam-Allan.

Food at Carmine's will be by Ozzy Martin Peer, who was previously at Peckham Cellars and the Ivy West Street (and also runs the menu at the Elm Park Tavern). It'll be brasserie-style, with an eye on sustainability.

The look of the place is inspired by "all-day brunch spaces in New York and Chicago" (they will have a special brunch menu at the weekend) and will also have a workspace membership during the week. Coming soon, they're planning to launch a retail space, wine and bottle shop in the run-up to Christmas.
