Vendors and an opening date has been confirmed for Thornaby's first street food venue.
In less than a month, stalls selling world cuisines "from burgers to Jamaican, Mexican, Italian and Desserts" will take over the old Poundstretcher in the town centre. A bar, German-style beer benches and live acts are also part of the plans.
Organisers have confirmed the Food Shack will open on Saturday, June 4. Each day this week, they are announcing a different vendor that will be taking space in the venue on social media.
