Native Places reveals January opening for seventh aparthotel

Lifestyle aparthotel brand Native Places will open its seventh property located in St Paul’s, London early next year. 

Native King’s Wardrobe, St Paul’s, marks the fourth aparthotel in the UK capital for Native. Formerly known as the Royal Wardrobe in the 14th century, Native King’s Wardrobe, St Paul’s served primarily as a storehouse for the King’s state and ceremonial robes, as well as those belonging to members of the Royal Family.

The 92-unit aparthotel is spread across seven Grade II-listed townhouses. Each townhouse has been named after fashion designers which transformed British style from the 17th century onwards. These include Anna Maria Garthwaite, an English textile designer in the mid-18th century, and Rose Bertin, the dressmaker to Marie Antoinette, Queen of France.

Accommodation ranges from studios to three-bedroom apartments, which all come with fully equipped kitchens, living and dining areas, and workspaces. Bramley toiletries, Hypnos beds, and tapestry prints from House of Hackney can be found in in all of the apartments too. 

COUNTER King’s Wardrobe – a cafe during the day and wine bar in the evening – marks the brand’s debut in London. COUNTER currently features in Native’s Edinburgh and Manchester properties. 

Opening in January 2024, King’s Wardrobe, St Paul’s marks the seventh London location for Native Places, in addition to Bankside, Hyde Park and Mayfair.
