London-based bar operator Incipio Group is looking to open four new sites in the capital, Property Week has reported.

The group is in advanced talks for two sites and plans to add another two to its pipeline in 2021.

Ed Davenport, chief executive of Incipio Group, told Property Week strong relationships with landlords had been key during the Covid-19 lockdown and meant the business was still in a position to expand.

“You can’t have a partnership if you’re not communicating with both sides. That dialogue and communication is so important.

Our landlords have been terrific to us,” he said.

Incipio operates six venues in London including Pergola Paddington, Pergola Olympia, Lost in Brixton and The Prince.

The group has reopened four of its sites, operating at a reduced capacity at 52%, with turnover reaching around 70% year on year. It plans to reopen the remaining two venues imminently.
