Whyte Rushen is opening his first permanent restaurant this week

Celebrity Chef Whyte Rushen is is opening his first permanent restaurant this Thursday, so we can perhaps expect more of the hot, hot sandwiches; grilled plates of meat; and of course, the trademark oozing burgers. Or something completely different – there’s no news on the menu just yet.

Whyte Rushen has cooked in kitchens like Scully St James’s and Brat, and has held multiple burger pop-ups, so your guess is as good as ours as to what guests could be served up.

The chef took to Instagram last month to announce his newest venture: a permanent restaurant in Hackney. After a hitch along the way that saw a change to the site, he has now confirmed that the restaurant will open on Mare Street on December 7.
