The Crown Estate has signed two new names for Heddon Street – Casa do Frango and The Starman from Barworks – building on the great restaurant offer in the West End.
Heddon Street, located just off London’s iconic Regent Street, continues to strengthen its names as a leading foodie neighbourhood in the capital – now home to over ten much loved hospitality sites.
The latest signings join Michelin-star Sabor, Aussie brunch spot Ziggy Green, and The Crown Estate’s residency incubator site for up and coming restaurant brands – which is currently home to Sarap, a modern interpretation of Filipino cuisine.
Heddon Street was also the starting place of award winning sustainable restaurant Fallow, which has now graduated to a larger permanent site in St James’s Market.
The new deals will bring:
• Casa do Frango, the popular Portuguese Piri-Piri chicken concept from hospitality group MJMK, will be opening its first central London location this summer, taking 5,000 sq ft.
• The Starman, from Barworks the independent pub, bar and restaurant group, will also be opening in summer, bringing the first bar offer to the street.
This continued evolution of Heddon Street will be further supported by other new names over the next few months, as well as a refresh of the surroundings to celebrate the personality of the street as an alfresco dining destination with an eclectic heritage linked to art, music and culture.
