The Table to open a second restaurant end of July

22 June 2023

The Table has been open in Southwark for 17 years and now they've finally decided it's time to open a second restaurant, The Table Battersea.

Best known for their brunch, which has been the only menu they've had so far, they're coming to Battersea Rise. The expansion comes as a part of the work needed to bring the original Table back from the effects of pandemic restrictions, where the business is now co-owned by its original owner Paul Appleton and Venus Loudon.

  • Brunch will, once again, be the main draw here with a menu including:
  • Smoked ham hock and chorizo hash, with wilted spinach, fried free-range egg and Southwark hot sauce
  • The Table chicken burger - grilled buttermilk-marinated chicken, Southwark hot sauce, mayonnaise, avocado, sliced tomato and gem lettuce
  • Brunch club with crispy streaky bacon, sausage, free-range scrambled eggs, chives, maple syrup - on either pancakes or gluten-free waffles.

They'll also be open in the evenings, unlike the Southwark original, and a new menu of small plates is being planned for that.
